Task 6

                                      WALT: Find out information about the Olympics.


     Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world.
                        It is named after a tree called Brazilwood.  

   Brazil has won the cup 5 times! In fact the most famous player is Pele.It is rated 9th in the world soccer standings.

The Amazon river is the second longest river in the world and the world’s largest river by volume.

           The Amazon jungle has the greatest biodiversity on the planet.

          There are 13 cities with more than one million people in Brazil.

The country shuts down for carnivals with partying day and night. It is held every Friday to Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.

Description: This is my Catch me if you can assessment. I think I've done a great job with keeping my eyes on the ball!

    W.A.L.T Intercept the pass - use the targets to assess your progress!                                   
  • My weight is on the balls of my feet
  • My knees are flexed
  • My eyes are on the ball
  • I am concentrating on the timing of the pass
  • I can push off towards the ball to attack the pass
  • I can tip the ball
  • I can intercept the ball and catch it with two hands

Description: This is task 5 the info about Tom and Vinicius. My colours were blue and black Mikaela's colour is pink and purple and Jada's colour was pink. Look up there and see what we researched about Tom and Vinicius.

Description: Yesterday we started task four and I finished yesterday which was a bonus. The top picture is my research about Citius,Altius and Fortius. The picture below is my motto which is live,fun and enjoy and then the second motto is the olympic motto.

Task Three: The Olympic Flag
Research about the Olympic Flag and then answer the following questions.
  • Who designed the Olympic Flag?
  • In which year was the Olympic Flag designed?
  • What do the five rings represent?
  • Why were yellow, black, green, red and blue chosen?
  • Why are the rings interlocked?
  • Draw the Olympic Flag.
